DIY Thrifted Sunflower Crock

The Thrift stores are some of my favorite places to find crafting supplies at. I know I’ll always find something that after being brought back to life will look amazing! A lot of the time I don’t even use it as it was intended but take it in a completely different direction! Some of those crafts turn out the best in my opinion! I absolutely fell in love with this crock and couldn’t wait to get it home and make it my own! Hopefully you love it as much as I did making it and you find something similar to turn into your own DIY Thrifted Sunflower Crock.

First, I chose which of the Thymeless Rub on transfers I wanted to use, and cut them out. I then placed the first one on the center of the crock.

Second, once I had it placed exactly where I wanted it I removed the backing.

Third, I placed the second Thymeless rub on transfer on. I chose a bee to use with the sunflower, placing it like it was landing on the flower.

Finally, I cut a length of the Buffalo check ribbon and tied it around the rim of the crock. I then placed a bunch of flowers into the crock.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love repurposing items that others no longer had a use for, and this DIY Thrifted Sunflower Crock has to be one of my favorites! It has so much life and the colors of the sunflowers pop! I couldn’t be happier with this craft, and can’t wait to get it into my craft booth.

As many of you know I have rented a new booth space in a local shop here in New England and have started creating for my booth. I will be sharing my creations on my blog and on my social media. We can talk about what sold and what didn’t, what is working and what is not and talking about my adventures with my new booth!  I have previously had a booth for 15 years in a different location and while I did well it just wasn’t a fit for me any more. I am excited to see where my new journey takes me and hoping to share my knowledge along the way!
