Antique Wax

Spanish Moss

Yellow Paint

First, I drilled a small hole into each of the top corners of the cutting board.

Second, I painted the cutting board with the yellow paint.

Third, I laid out the sunflower rub on transfer where I wanted it, then applied it.

Fourth, I arranged the wall pocket so it was centered on the cutting board, then screwed it to the board.

Fifth, I used the Antique Wax around the edges of the cutting board.

Sixth, I cut a length of twine and knotted it through the two drilled holes creating a hanger.

Finally, I filled the pocket with Spanish Moss and then inserted the sunflower pick into that.

Here is the project all finished, how do you think it turned out? I’m absolutely in love with this craft, it’s so bright and cheerful. I couldn’t be happier with the final result! When my ideas come together and look as amazing as this craft it couldn’t make me happier! It took a little bit to gather all the necessary pieces to make this DIY Thrifted Sunflower Wall Pocket come together but it was totally worth it in the end!
