DIY ‘Tis The Season Ornament

I absolutely love crafting for Christmas time! It has to be one of the most fun seasons to make projects for and there are so many ideas I have that I can’t wait to get done! When I found these Christmas stickers, I knew what I wanted to make with some of them and went on the hunt for the rest of the needed supplies! It didn’t take me long to find them, my local Dollar Tree has been amazing lately with stocking plenty of crafting supplies! Follow along with this DIY ‘Tis The Season Ornament, you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Ornament
Christmas Stickers
Mini Holly Cut Out
White Paint
Antique Wax
Red and White Ticking

First, I used the Antique Wax and gave the ornament a coating with it.

Second, I gave the ornament a very light coating of the White paint, making sure you could still see the Antique Wax through it.

Third, I chose the ‘Tis The Season sticker and placed it to the right hand side of the ornament.

Fourth, I glued the mini holly cut out to the left side of the sticker.

Finally, I cut a piece of the red and white ticking fabric and tied it around one end of the twine hanger.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love this craft, it came out just as I imagined it would. This project was so, so simple, yet so much fun! I think I may make a few more using more of the holiday stickers I have, so I have a variety to bring into my craft booth! This DIY ‘Tis The Season Ornament will be a huge hit, I’m sure! I hope you followed along and have decided you would like to give this one a shot too!
