Have you ever accidently come across an idea for a project? Well that is exactly what happened with these DIY towel holders. I was shopping at Walmart and of course you have to check the clearance aisle when you are there! I found these awesome knobs shaped like faucet handles!! They were only $3.00, SCORE! That is when the idea kicked into play! Stopped at Hobby Lobby on my way home, and grabbed two wooden plaques, $1.99 each! So far a total of $6.00 for this project! Below is step by step how to make these DIY towel holders.

Once I got home I lightly sanded the wood, just to be sure the surface was clean and smooth. Then I took stain in Minwax, Dark Walnut and stained both wooden plaques. After they dried, I drilled holes into them to be able to attach the knobs and attached them.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE??!!! LOVE them!

I attached a saw tooth hanger to the back of each and hung them on my wall in the bathroom. Totally just love them, super cute and simple!

I thought about adding his & hers to the top of each with my Cricut, but haven’t decided just yet! What do you think, should I add that?
