As you all have probably noticed I’m a huge fan of these little old school pick up trucks. They can be incorporated into crafts for basically any holiday or season. Whether its hand painting the little wooden cut outs or finding one that is already decorated that will work for a project I have in mind. Follow along with me for this DIY Valentine Truck Hanger.

Supplies:
Dollar General Wooden Truck Decoration
Dollar Tree Sign
Hobby Lobby Scrapbook Paper
Paints (optional, for painting beads)
Mod Podge
Hot Glue

We are going to start out by taking apart the Dollar Tree Sign. We are going to use the part of the sign with the words on it to start. Set aside the other pieces for later.

Trace the square from the back of the sign onto your scrapbook paper. Cut out to size and attach using Mod Podge.

Once the scrapbook paper is attached, put the frame back together. I used hot glue for this step. Before I put the frame back together I chose to paint the beads that are on the hanger. This step is completely optional.

Next hot glue your Wooden Truck Decoration to the bottom of the sign frame. Once this step is complete your project is done.

I love how this little craft came out. It was super simple and would be a great project to do with the kiddos. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Do you think you will make a DIY Valentine Truck Hanger?
