I found this Welcome-ish cutout at Hobby Lobby and I knew I needed to make a sign with it! I have a much larger one on my wall and I LOVE IT! Dollar Tree just happened to have all these new Farmhouse style signs I had bought. When I brought the cutout home, I sized it up to one of the Dollar tree signs and it fit perfectly. It was meant to be!! Comee follow alone and let’s make a DIY Welcome-ish Farmhouse Sign!

Supplies:
Welcome-ish Cutout -Hobby Lobby
Blank Sign- Dollar Tree
Black Paint
Brown Antique Wax
Tape
Such a simple supply list, love when that happens!

First, I took the sign from Dollar tree and taped off around the whole frame. Then I stained it with the brown wax. It was already rustic white in the center, so I figured it was perfect to leave that way.

Second, I painted the Welcome-ish cutout with a couple coats of black paint. I used acrylic but you can use chalk paint also or whatever you have on hand.

Finally I glued the cutout to the center of the sign. ALL DONE! Super easy and quick!

How adorable is this?! It looks like it came from a store! I love how it turned out and how easy it was to make! Easy and quick projects are fun, especially when they turn out looking like they are storebought!

This would look cute in many color combinations too! It can be made to fit any decor style! Do you think you’ll make DIY Welcome-ish Farmhouse Sign?
