Fall is such a beautiful season with all the leaves changing colors and acorns falling. The chilly air and getting cozy by the fire. I love making crafts that make my home feel warm and this Dollar Tree Acorn Makeover is just one of those such crafts! I hope you like this project, and give it a try!

Supplies:
Dollar Tree Acorn
Scrapbook Paper
Twine
Antique Wax
Mod Podge

First, I took the Dollar Tree acorn and removed the thankful tag that came attached. I set the tag aside to use later on.

Second, I used the Antique Wax to coat the top of the acorn and all along the sides.

Third, I cut the scrapbook paper to fit the bottom half of the acorn.

Fourth, I used Mod Podge to secure the cut piece of scrapbook paper to the bottom of the acorn.

Fifth, I reattached the earlier removed thankful tag to the acorn.

Finally, I used twine to wrap around the acorn four times and secured it with hot glue.

Here is the end result of my project! I think it came out perfect! This will be a great display piece in the dining room this fall. Nothing beats the homey feel this gives off to me! I really hope you give this Dollar Tree Acorn Makeover a try for yourselves. It was so fun and easy to make!
