Dollar Tree Bunny Egg

I was so excited when I found this bunny egg at my local Dollar Tree. When I purchased this and many other items, I couldn’t wait to get home to get started on some of the projects I had been antsy to make. I had been looking for some new things to craft with for Spring and Easter! Follow along with this Dollar Tree Bunny Egg project, you will not be disappointed that you did!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Bunny Egg
Twine
Flower
Blue and Almondine Paint
Antique Wax

First, I painted the entire egg with the Blue/Green paint.

Second, I painted the bunny with the Almondine paint.

Third, I gave the stand a nice coating of the Antique Wax.

Fourth, I secured the egg into the stand. I then used an old tooth brush coated with the Almondine paint and splattered it over the egg.

Finally, I cut a bunch of twine, looping it up and glued it to the bunnies neck. I then glued the flower to the center of that.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love this project, and how the final results turned out! I’m having a hard time deciding if I want to keep this craft project for myself or display it to be sold. I had a blast making it and it would be the prettiest Easter decoration.
