Dollar Tree Chick Tag

Dollar Tree is one of my favorite stores to find crafting supplies. They constantly have changing inventory and a ton of new items to pick from! They always have something that I can make a beautiful craft with! When I found this tag on one of my last trips I knew exactly what I would make with them! I hope you enjoy this Dollar Tree Chick Tag, and decide to make one for yourself!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Tag
Chick Stamp – Thrifted
Scrapbook Paper – Hobby Lobby
Ribbon
Button
Mod Podge
Yellow and Blue Paint

First, I removed the beads from the tag, setting them aside for after. I then painted the tag with the yellow paint.

Second, I painted the beads with yellow and blue paint.

Third, I threaded the beads onto a large length of twine and tied it back onto the painted tag.

Fourth, I used the thrifted chick stamp and stamped it onto the top of the tag.

Fifth, I cut a length of the scrapbook paper to fit to just under the stamped chick. I then secured it onto the tag with Mod Podge.

Finally, I cut a length of ribbon and secured it down at the top of the scrapbook paper with Mod Podge. I then glued on a blue button to the side.

Here’s the final result, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the finished project! it has so much color and I love the chick. I am so happy I found this stamper at the thrift store, I absolutely love him. So what do you think, will you give this Dollar Tree Chick Tag a shot too?
