Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Egg

I love Easter time! It’s such a fun, happy time especially with the little ones! When I found these wooden eggs at the Dollar Tree I knew exactly what I wanted to do with a couple of them, and it was a win for me too because I got to incorporate one of my napkins into it! I hope you enjoy following along with this Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Egg, and make one of your own too!

Dollar Tree Wooden Egg
Scrapbook Paper
Bunny Napkin
Burlap Flower
Yellow RickRack
Black Paint
Antique Wax

First, I painted the entire bottom of the egg and onto the top edge with the black paint.

Second, I cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to fit the top of the egg, and secured it down using Mod Podge.

Third, I cut the Easter bunny out of the napkin.

Fourth, I secured the bunny to the bottom of the egg using Mod Podge. I then used the Antique Wax around the outer edge of the egg, and around the bunny.

Fifth, I hot glued the burlap flower to the back corner of the egg, at the bunnies tail.

Finally, I cut a length of the yellow rickrack and hot glued it across the top of the egg.

Here’s the final project, how do you think it turned out? I think it came out beautiful, and can’t wait to get it into my craft booth! This craft project was a blast to make, and took next to no time at all. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The Easter Bunny napkin absolutely made this project come to life! I hope you enjoyed this Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Egg enough to make one of your own too!
