Dollar Tree Fabric Pallet Flag

I love shopping at Dollar Tree for crafting supplies and I love their mini pallets! I have made a couple versions of flags using these pallets, and possibly have a few more ideas for another couple of flags lol. I love making patriotic crafts and these pallets make the best surface! Come see how this Dollar Tree Fabric Pallet Flag turned out! I hope you follow along and love it as much as I did making it!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Pallet
Red and Blue Fabric – Coffee or Tea Stained
Scrabble Letters
Wooden Star
Antique Wax
White Paint and Mod Podge

First, I covered the pallet with a coating of Antique Wax.

Second, I cut two small strips of the coffee stained blue fabric and secured them to the top left corner of the pallet using Mod Podge.

Third, I cut strips of the coffee stained red fabric to fill in the remaining slats of the pallet, securing them with Mod Podge.

Fourth, I painted the star with the white paint.

Fifth, I used Antique Wax around the outer edges of the star.

Finally, I covered the U-S-A scrabble letters with Antique Wax and hot glued those to the bottom right hand corner, and also hot glued the star to the upper left and corner.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I think it looks pretty amazing if I do say so myself! When my craft ideas turn out exactly how I envisioned them I couldn’t be happier, and this Dollar Tree Fabric Pallet Flag couldn’t have been any more beautiful! I like that the fabrics I decided to use weren’t just plain, and had some design to them. The extra detail just gives it more life I think! I hope you enjoyed this DIY as much as I did making it! I hope decide you want to make one of your own!
