When I found this vase at Dollar Tree, I knew exactly what I wanted to create with it. I knew I could make a beautiful arrangement with it and and couldn’t wait to get home and get started on it! This is another craft that takes minimal supplies, as well as minimal time to make and I hope you enjoy this Dollar Tree Farmhouse Chippy Vase and make one too!
Dollar Tree Vase
White Chalk Paint
Embellishments ( I used a key and clock face)
Boxwood Picks or your choice of florals
First, I used the white chalk paint and gave the vase a nice coat with that. I then let it dry.
Second, I lightly sanded around the raised spots on the vase and a few more areas around the vase to give it the worn look.
Third, I cut a large piece of twine and looped it around the neck of the vase, I then threaded the twine through the key and clock face finishing it up by tying a bow. Finally, I added the chosen greenery picks to the vase.
Here is the final result, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the look of the final project! This would make an amazing shelf end or even an end table centerpiece. This vase would look beautiful with some colorful flowers as well, and maybe even be used as a dining table center! This Dollar Tree Farmhouse Chippy Vase turned out exactly how I envisioned it and it took so little time to complete too! With very minimal time and supplies you could make one of your own too and I hope you enjoyed this enough to give it a shot!
