Dollar Tree has really stepped up its game in the crafting department! There is so may things to choose from to create beautiful home decor on a budget! I found these little chalk board houses and loved them. I knew that it would make cute little floral pocket! Come follow along as I make this easy and adorable Dollar Tree Floral Pocket!

Supplies:
Chalk Board House – Dollar Tree
Black & White Ticking Fabric – Hobby Lobby
Stamps- Dollar Tree
Muslin- Hobby Lobby
Florals – Dollar General
Paint – Bleached Sand

First, I painted the frame of the chalkboard house with bleached sand acrylic paint.

Second, I took the ticking fabric and glued it around the bottom of the house. Creating a pocket in the front of the house.

Third, I tore a small square of muslin, I did not cute it because I wanted the frayed edges. Once I had it the size I wanted I took one of the stamps and stamped the muslin.

Fourth, I Mod Podged that to the front of my pocket. I used Mod Podge because I didn’t want hot glue to show through the muslin.

Next, I filled the pocket with some bright yellow flowers! I thought they really popped against the black and white, which I loved!

Finally, I added a twine bow to the front of the pocket! It was the perfect finishing touch!

This turned out so ADORABLE! I absolutely love it! It was also pretty easy to make and can be done in any decor preference, using different fabric and color paint and flowers! I can see this easily being transformed into a cute piece of Christmas decor! You could do red and white ticking, fill with some greenery and candy canes! Looks like I have a new Christmas in July project lol!
