Dollar Tree Framed Ghost
I’ve recently been on a ghost kick with Halloween coming. I was going through some of my supplies and found my air dry clay and the perfect idea came to me for my next project. A ghost made from the clay seemed like the perfect part to the idea that had come to me. I love when ideas just come like that! It makes it so much easier to get my craft projects done when the ideas just flow! Come check out my latest, this Dollar Tree Framed Ghost!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree Frame
Air Dry Clay
White, Black and Silver Paint
Scrapbook Paper
First, I took the Air Dry Clay and shaped it into what I thought was a good ghost. I made sure it was flat on the back. I also laid it on the frame to round the edges. Once it dried I then painted it with the White Paint.
Second, I took the frame apart and painted it with the Black Paint.
Third, I took the scrapbook paper and traced the frame onto it. I then cut out the shape.
Third, I put the frame back together with the scrapbook paper.
Fourth, once the ghost was dry, I glued it to the bottom section of the frame.
Fifth, I used the Tin colored paint and added it around the frame.
Finally, I used the end of my paint brush with the Black Paint and dotted on the eyes. I then made a small mouth on the ghost.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the end result, it looks just as I imagined it would. The ghost looks amazing against the black of the frame and the background of the scrapbook paper. I can’t wait to get this into the store, I think it will fly off the shelf.
