Dollar Tree Halloween Shelf Sitter

So I found myself in the Dollar Tree the other day, imagine that lol! So of course I had to check out the Halloween section. They had some adorable Halloween wooden stickers that I knew I could throw together to make something super cute with. Follow along while we learn to make a Dollar Tree Halloween Shelf Sitter.

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Chalk Board

Dollar Tree Small Standing Frame

Dollar Tree Witch Hat & Bat Wooden Stickers

Halloween Scrapbook Paper (Joanns)

Acrylic Paints- Black, White, Lite Green, and Purple

Mod Podge

Glue Gun

Dollar Tree Spackling

Step 1, remove the hanger from your chalkboard and cover the holes with spackling.

Step 2, paint the Dollar Tree small standing frame. Mine is painted white feel free to switch up the colors and be creative.

Step 3, once the spackling that was used to cover the holes in the chalkboard is dry we are going to paint it. I used the lite green paint for this

Step 4, paint your witch hat wooden sticker, I painted mine black and added some white polka dots to make it stand out a little more. I also added some black polka dots around the edge of the chalkboard and painted my bat wooden sticker black.

Step 5, for this step I added my piece of scrapbook paper to the center of the chalkboard. This can be attached using Mod Podge.

Step 6, using the hot glue gun attach the wooden stickers to the frame. For mine I placed them in the corners, you can place yours wherever you would like.

Step 7, I added some little dots and dashes around the scrap book paper with my white paint. You can do whatever design you would like around the paper.

Finally we are going to attach the small standing frame to the chalk board. Using your hot glue gun, apply glue to the circle of the frame and attach it to the back of your chalk board.
