Dollar Tree Patriotic Canvas

On one of my many trips to Dollar Tree I found these super cute Patriotic scarves. I loved the Patriotic/Summer popsicles on them, and knew I wanted to make something with them! While I was there I grabbed a small 5×7 canvas and came home and got to work creating this super cute DIY! Follow along as we make a super cute Dollar Tree Patriotic Canvas!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree 5×7 Canvas

Dollar Tree Patriotic Popsicle Scarf

Wooden Half Beads

Ribbon Edging

Red Chalk Paint

First thing I did was pick out which popsicle I wanted to use. Once I had that choice made I put a layer of Mod Podge on my canvas and laid the scarf how I wanted it on the canvas. Allow that Mod Podge to dry and then add another layer right on top of the scarf. After that was dry I trimmed all the fabric off around my canvas.

Second I took the ribbon and hot glued it around all of the edges of the canvas.

Third step, I painted my half wood beads by sticking them to a piece of painters tape. Once they dried I glued one in each corner of the canvas. That is it, all done!!

How stinking cute is this?! It is absolutely adorable!! Such a fun piece to use as a shelf sitter, or in a tier tray!
