Dollar Tree Patriotic Flag Frame
It’s that time of year again, when I get into all of my patriotic crafting! With the Fourth of July fast approaching I wanted to get a move on the list of projects I wanted to accomplish. I found this frame at my local Dollar Tree and the perfect mini flag at Walmart that I knew would be the perfect fit. I hope you follow along with this super simple, but so much fun to make Dollar Tree Patriotic Flag Frame, and give one a try too!

Supplies:
Dollar Tree Frame
Flag Walmart
Coffee Stain
Paints – Deep Burgundy, Deep Midnight Blue, Almondine
Antique Wax

First, I removed the flag from the pole and then stained it with the coffee stain.

Second, I took the backing and glass from the frame and painted just the beads in the center with the almondine paint.

Third, I painted the outer rim of the frame with the deep burgundy paint.

Fourth, I painted the inner rim of the frame with the deep midnight blue paint.

Fifth, I lightly sanded over the whole frame.

Sixth, I used the Antique Wax and gave a coating around the edges.

Finally, I placed the flag between the glass and the backing and put it back together.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the final result! It looks amazing with the frame painted in my signature red, white and blue colors I use for all of my patriotic crafts. I can’t wait to get this craft project into my craft booth on my next trip in. I’ve had many people asking for patriotic DIY’s and I have many more to come! I hope you decide that you want to give this Dollar Tree Patriotic Flag Frame a shot too! It was a blast to make!
