While at Dollar Tree the other day I found these super cute little wooden gnomes. Dollar tree has really stepped up the Crafters Square section at some of their stores. I am loving all the new things to create with! These gnomes I believe are going to be a year-round thing, but I decided to turn this one into a Patriotic gnome because it already had stars on his hat! Come see how this Dollar Tree Patriotic Gnome turned out!
Supplies:
Gnome- Dollar Tree
Red, White and Blue Paint
Enchanted Shimmer Paint
First, I painted his hat blue and then the stars I painted white.
Second, I painted his pants red.
Second, I painted his beard white. Then his nose with a flesh color and the base in black.
Finally, I coated the whole gnome in some enchanted shimmer. It gave him a really sparkly appearance, which I loved! I get my Enchanted Shimmer at Hobby Lobby; it is made by DecoArt its the color white.
How absolutely adorable is he?!! I love how he turned out; he looks all dapper for the fourth!
