Dollar Tree Patriotic Home Sign
I’m back with more of my patriotic crafts! When I was shopping my local Dollar Tree I came across this house sign and had an idea of what I wanted to make with it as soon as I saw it! I love to craft patriotic signs, they’re amazing to display! This project didn’t need very many supplies, most of which I had on hand and it was a blast to make! I hope you follow along with this Dollar Tree Patriotic Home Sign and decide you want to give one a shot too!

Supplies:
Dollar Tree House Sign
Patriotic Napkin
Wooden Letters
Antique Wax
Red, White and Blue Paint

First, I painted the entire sign with the white paint.

Second, I gave each of the house shapes a coating of Mod Podge.

Third, I opened the patriotic napkin and cut a piece for each of the house shapes. I then lightly ironed over it.

Fourth, I painted the end balls with the deep midnight blue paint, the next two in with the deep burgundy and left the center white.

Fifth, I painted the wooden “HOME” letters with the Antique Wax.

Finally, I glued each of the wooden letters to the house shapes spelling out “HOME”.

Here it is all completed, how do you think the final project turned out? I don’t think I could be happier, I think it came out amazing! I love all things patriotic and this Dollar Tree Patriotic Home Sign came out perfect! When I can take a sign I find at the store and completely change the look to something that I feel better suits it, it makes me ecstatic! I’m hoping you enjoyed this DIY, and have decided that you would like to give one a try too!
