I’m always looking for something fun to add to the kitchen for Christmas. I feel like I always spend so much time concentrating on decorating the rest of the house that the kitchen gets a little neglected. I saw this super cute fabric at Wal Mart and knew I could make it something super cute. Follow along for a Dollar Tree Pioneer Woman Gingerbread Cutting Board.

Supplies:
Cutting Board- Dollar Tree
Fabric- Mine is Pioneer Woman from Wal Mart
Dish Washer Safe Mod Podge
Sandpaper
Super Glue
Rubbing Alcohol

Remove the feet from the cutting board and clean the bottom with rubbing alcohol. Then trace out your fabric to the size of the cutting board.

Apply a thick coat of Mod Podge to the bottom of the cutting board (the underside not the textured top).

Place on your fabric and smooth it out. Add another coat of Mod Podge. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Add another coat of Mod Podge and allow to dry for another 24 hrs.

Once the Mod Podge is dry and hard, sand the edges to remove the excess fabric and reattach the feet using super glue. Allow to cure before washing for 30 days. I don’t use the dishwasher with mine, I have hand washed it daily for a few years and it’s still in great shape.

This came out super cute and was so simple to make. These make great gifts and can be personalized with each persons decor style. I made everyone in my family one, and they loved them! Do you think you will make a Dollar Tree Pioneer Woman Gingerbread Cutting Board?
