Dollar Tree Primitive Farmhouse Pumpkin Stack

I love crafting for Halloween, and the Fall months. When I found these stacked pumpkins at my local Dollar Tree, I knew just what to make with them! There are so many different types of projects for this holiday, you could do fun, or spooky or completely scary! This Dollar Tree Primitive Farmhouse Pumpkin Stack is absolutely on the fun side, and I hope you follow along and decide to give one a try for yourselves! I also did a video on this project; you can find it on my Facebook page here!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Stacked Pumpkins
Black and Antique White Paint
Homespun Fabric
Exacto Knife
Fairy Lights
Sponge Pouncer
Raffia

First, I drew stars onto the first and last pumpkins.

Second, I used an exact knife to cut out the stars, and then I carefully cut the pumpkins apart from each other.

Third, I painted all three pumpkins with the black paint.

Fourth, I painted over the top pumpkin with the Antique White paint.

Fifth, I covered the middle pumpkin with the homespun fabric.

Sixth, I took some raffia and tied a bow around the stem of the top pumpkin. I then glued the pumpkins back together, and added a led tea light to each of the pumpkins with the star.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I think it came out perfect. It’s just how I envisioned it to be and couldn’t be any happier with the final result! Halloween and Fall are so much fun to make projects for and I always have so many ideas to make, that I can never decide which to do first. I hope you followed along with this Dollar Tree Primitive Farmhouse Pumpkin Stack, and have decided to give one a shot.
