Dollar Tree Sunflower Crate Arrangement

I love how my local Dollar Tree is getting more, and more crafting supplies in. There never seems to be a shortage of things I want to buy to craft with! I love these crates and knew I needed to another project with them. On a previous supply run for another project, I had gotten a couple of the fences and thought that with the crate the fence would make the perfect backing for this Dollar Tree Sunflower Crate Arrangement. I hope you follow along and decide you want to give this craft project a go too! You will not be disappointed!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Crate
Dollar Tree Fence
Sunflower Pick & Greenery
Burlap Ribbon
Tim Holtz Chipboard Quote
Floral Foam
Spanish Moss
Yellow Paint
Antique Wax

First, I removed the hanger from the fence, I then painted both the fence and the crate with the yellow paint.

Second, I glued the fence to the back of the inside of the crate. I kept it more towards the top.

Third, I placed a piece of floral foam into the crate and then covered it with Spanish Moss.

Fourth, I inserted the sunflower pick and the greenery into the floral foam.

Fifth, I applied Antique Wax to the whole crate.

Sixth, I cut a length a piece of burlap ribbon to fit the center of the crate front. I then glued it down.

Finally, I glued the Tim Holtz Chipboard Quote to the center of the burlap ribbon.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? Sunflowers are some of my favorite to add into my Summer time craft projects and I think it absolutely made this project shine! I couldn’t be happier with the end result, it came out exactly how I thought it would. This project will be in my next restocking run to my craft booth and I can’t wait to get it there! I hope you loved this Dollar Tree Sunflower Crate Arrangement as much as I did making it, and decide you want to make one of your own too!
