Let’s make an easy DIY sea shell wreath! I work on the beach so I spend a lot of time at the ocean! What would I be thinking if I didn’t spend my breaks and lunch shell hunting!? My shells are stored in jars, cloches and well, just all over. I wanted a way to display them a little nicer and uniquely! While I was out treasure hunting one day I came across this grapevine wreath, and thought this would be cute painted, then I thought even cuter painted with shells! BINGO!

First I laid out all the shells on the wreath to see how they would look and find the right placement. Then I took a picture so after I was finished painting it, I could refer back to the picture for placement. The picture was helpful, but I did change things up a bit.

Secondly I painted the wreath with spray paint, the color is a teal green that Walmart had on clearance! WIN! I LOVE this color and for shells it was PERFECT!

The final step is to glue your shells on with your glue gun, placing them where ever you want them. This is your chance to be creative and unique! I’m loving how it turned out!
