Spring is so much fun to craft for, all the bright colors, flowers, birds etc..! I wanted a little picture for a table in my house, so I came up with this project! I love an easy and quick DIY, and one that is inexpensive also is just a homerun! This project is all of those and SUPER cute too!! You may have many of the supplies on hand! Follow along to make this easy DIY spring sign!
Here are the supplies!
Stencil- Hobby Lobby or Walmart I can’t remember
Stencil brush or foam pouncer
First, I took apart the frame and used the glass to trace out a piece of burlap to fit. Then I mod podged it to the frame backing.
Second I took the bird stencil and white paint and stenciled the design right onto the burlap. Once it was dry I placed it back into the frame.
Third, I made a small twine bow and glued it to the top left corner of the frame and added a button in the center.
Finally I added the scrabble letters to the bottom of the frame.
I LOVE how simple and easy this was to make, and how cute it turned out!
It always amazes me what we can make using a Dollar Tree frame!
