Fall Hanging Cutting Board Decor

This project combined two of my favorite ways to craft! I used Thrifted pieces and napkins from my stock pile! Using my napkins has been some of my more recent favorite crafting supplies to use! They always come out amazing, and there’s so many different designs the things you could make are endless! Follow along with this Fall Hanging Cutting Board Decor, you will not be sorry you did!

Supplies:

Cutting Board – Thrifted
Napkin – My shop
Buffalo Check Ribbon
Raffia
Mod Podge
White Paint
Sunflower
Twine

First, I painted the thrifted cutting board with White paint.

Second I opened the napkin and used Mod Podge and an iron to secure it to the cutting board.

Third, I cut two pieces of the buffalo check ribbon that would fit across the top and the bottom of the cutting board. I secured those down using Mod Podge as well.

Fourth, I cut another length of the buffalo check ribbon and made it into a bow, securing it in the center with a piece of twine. I then glued it just below the handle of the cutting board.

Fifth, I took a bunch of fall colored raffia and tied it into a bow, gluing it to the top of the ribbon bow. I then cut a length of twine and created a hanger through the top of the cutting board.

Finally, I glued the sunflower to the center of the bows.

Here it is all finished, how do you think the final project looks? I couldn’t be happier with it, it came out amazing! The Fall napkin along with the fall colored raffia, and the buffalo check ribbon just bring the whole project together! I am seriously considering keeping this project for myself, and not bring it to my craft booth, I love it that much! What do you think, will you be giving this Fall Hanging Cutting Board Decor a try for yourself?
