I absolutely love Fall, the colors, the weather, all the decor and so much more! When thinking of Fall I think baking, and comfort foods. So, I decided to make over one of the Dollar Tree cutting boards and turn it into a cute piece of Fall decor for my kitchen! Come follow along as I make this Fall Mini Cutting Board

Supplies:
Dollar Tree Mini Cutting Board
Scrapbook Paper- Hobby Lobby
Stamp
Button Ribbon – Hobby Lobby

First, I drilled a hole in the top of the cutting board. Dollar Tree ones do not have a predrilled hole. Next, I painted it using the color light mocha.

Second, I added my scrapbook paper to the bottom half only. Once it was dry, I sanded off the excess.

Third, I used this leaf stamp I had and stamped it right above my scrapbook paper. You want to make sure you use a permanent ink so it doesn’t rub off. I use StazOn ink from Hobby Lobby

Fourth, I used my antique wax around all the edges.

Fifth, I took some button ribbon from Hobby Lobby and added it right above the scrapbook paper.

Finally, I added a jute hanger to finish it off and so I can hang it if I choose to.

Here it is all finished!! I think it turned out so cute!! Love it!! It is always amazing what you can make out of Dollar Tree items!! It is also awesome that it can be made to fit any decor style.
