Grateful Fall Sign
When I found this Grateful cutout at Hobby Lobby I had the perfect craft idea come to me! After I purchased the cutout I went in search of the perfect sign that would pull the whole project together, and found it at my local Dollar Tree. I love to create amazing projects for the Fall season! There are just so many different ideas that come to me for this time of year and I’m always so excited to get them started! Follow along with this Grateful Fall Sign, and hopefully you’ll decide you want to give one a go too!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree Sign
Paints- Burnt Orange, Marigold, Almondine, Deep Burgundy
Antique Wax
Leaf Stencils
Copper and Gold Shimmer Paints
Grateful Leather Cutout- Hobby Lobby
First, I removed the twine hanger, and then I painted each slat of the sign with the Burnt Orange, Marigold, Almondine, and Deep Burgundy paints.
Second, once the paint dried I gave the sign a coating of the Antique Wax.
Third, I hot glued the grateful cutout onto the sign. I placed mine onto the Almondine painted slat. It stood out more to me!
Fourth, I replaced the twine hanger back onto the sign.
Finally, I used the leaf stencils along with the Copper and Gold Shimmer paints and stenciled leaves around the sign.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love this project, I think it came out amazing! This craft project was so simple and took hardly any time to pull together, and it came out perfect! I can’t wait to get this Grateful Fall Sign into my craft booth on my next restocking trip!
