Halloween Fence Pumpkin

While I was cleaning up around my yard, and garage I came across this old scrap piece of fence and had the perfect idea what I could make with it! I love when Fall comes around and I can start making pumpkin crafts. This time of the year is where anything and everything becomes a pumpkin, and I absolutely love it! You really can’t go wrong with turning some scrap pieces of wood into beautiful crafts! Follow along with this Halloween Fence Pumpkin, and maybe you’ll love it as much as I do and decide to give one a try too!

Supplies:

Scrap Fence Piece
Rusty Wire
Paint – Orange, Black and White

First, I drilled two small holes at the top of the wood, that will later hold the hanger.

Second, I painted the entire piece of wood with the orange paint.

Third, I painted a pumpkin face onto the front with the black paint.

Fourth, I used the white paint and the end of my paint brush to create a few dots in the eyes, nose, and mouth. I then painted on some white lines in each, as well as created the eye.

Fifth, I cut a length of the rusty wire and inserted it through the previously drilled holes. I wound it up at the ends to keep it in place.

Sixth, I went around the edges of the pumpkin and added some black paint.

Finally, I cut a bunch of raffia and tied it into a bow around the side of the rusty wire.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love him! He’s so fun and would look amazing hanging for Halloween! I can’t wait to start bringing my Halloween craft projects over to my craft booth, I think this guy will be a big hit! So what do you think, will you be giving this Halloween Fence Pumpkin a try for yourselves?
