I love adding some spooky in with my Halloween decor, and it usually only takes a little something to give it that effect. When I saw a mini shadow box at Michaels that was just the thought that come to mind, a little something spooky. Follow along with me and learn how to make a Halloween Spider Sign.

Supplies:

Mini Shadow Box- Michaels

Scrapbook Paper- Joanns

Chalk Paint- White

Acrylic Paint- Black

Spider- Dollar Tree

Ribbon- Hobby Lobby

Mod Podge

Hot Glue

I started this by painting the mini shadow box with black paint. Make sure to cover the entire box, this will take a few coats.

Once the black paint is dry, grab your white chalk paint. You are going to dry brush the white paint around the sides of the mini shadow box.

After your white chalk paint is dry, measure out your scrapbook paper to fit inside of the mini shadow box. The scrapbook paper is going to be attached to the inside of the box using Mod Podge. You can choose any Halloween themed scrapbook paper that you would like. I used the spider web because I feel like it nicely pulled the entire project together.

Next grab your Dollar Tree spider and hot glue it to the middle of the shadow box.

Once you have your spider secured to the mini shadow box, you are going to glue the bow to the spider. With this final step your little spooky project is finished.

This came out so adorable and was super simple to make. I’m excited to add it to my Halloween decor around my home. Do you think you will try to make a Halloween Spider Sign?
