Kitchen Baking Christmas Sign
Dollar Tree has really been upping their crafting supplies lately! I always come out with bags full of supplies, and on my last trip in I found this easel I knew would be perfect for a project! I ended up buying a couple of them, since I had a few ideas of what I could make with them. This Kitchen Baking Christmas Sign was one of them, so follow along you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:
Dollar Tree Easel
Christmas Ornament
Burgundy Paint
Antique Wax
Scrapbook Paper
Ribbon
Gingerbread Button

First, I traced the flat portion of the easel onto the scrapbook paper, then cut it out.

Second, I used Mod Podge to secure the scrapbook paper to the face of the easel.

Third I painted the frame of the Christmas ornament with the Burgundy paint.

Fourth, I painted the frame of the easel with the Burgundy paint.

Fifth, I coated the edges of the easel with the Antique Wax.

Sixth, I lightly sanded around the frame of the ornament. I then gave it a coating of Antique Wax.

Seventh, I glued the ornament to the center of the easel.

Eighth, I glued a piece of greenery to the top of the easel, above the ornament.

Ninth, I cut a couple pieces of ribbon, tying the center to create a bow. I then glued it to the center of the greenery.

Finally, I glued the gingerbread button to the center of the bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? This has to be one of my more favorite Christmas projects this year! I love the way the Christmas ornament blends with the Burgundy paint, and how the scrapbook paper just ties it all together! The easel definitely makes for a great stand for this Kitchen Baking Christmas Sign! What do you think, will you be giving this craft project a try too? Let me know!
