Little Drummer Boy Faux Christmas Drum
I’ve had this old drum on my shelves of crafting supplies for quite a while, and knew I definitely wanted to make a Christmas craft with it this year! I decided to make a printable for this drum. I knew i wanted to do a drummer boy theme. This print I made was perfect for this Little Drummer Boy Faux Christmas Drum I finally got to use this drum! Paints- Antique White, Thicket, Deep Burgundy, Metallic Gold ttps://shopcreatingthroughchaos.com/products/little-drummer-boy-print
First, I painted the top of the drum with the Antique White Paint.
Second, I painted the center body of the drum with the Deep Burgundy Paint.
Third, I painted the top, and bottom frames of the drum with the Thicket Paint. I then used the Metallic Gold on the drums ties.
Finally, I used Mod Podge to secure the printable to the top of the drum. I also added some antique wax all around.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with this project, I think it came out amazing! The little drummer boy printable was the perfect choice for this old drum, and the Christmas colors really tie it all together!
