Mantel Clock Makeover
As many of you know, I love shopping at the thrift stores to find supplies for my craft projects! I always seem to come out of there with numerous items that I know I can either makeover of freshen up to make them beautiful again! On my latest trip into my local thrift store I found this old mantel clock that I knew I could bring back to life! Come check out this beautiful Mantel Clock Makeover, I think you’ll love it!

Supplies:
Thrifted Mantel Clock
Chalky Finish Paint – Retro

First, I removed the small strip of trim along the bottom of the mantel clock.

Second, I gave it a nice coating of Chalky Finish Paint-Retro. Once that dried, I gave the edges a light sanding and scuffed up the face in a couple spots.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I liked the original wood coloring but I really love this new made over coloring. It has so much more life, and is so much more bright! I can’t wait to get this into the store, I have a strong feeling it won’t be on the shelf long! Do you think you’ll try and find a piece like this to try and create your own Mantel Clock Makeover?
