Patriotic Wood Slice
I love when I find these wood slice pieces in the stores. I’ve had so many different ideas brewing in my head for these, that when I find them, I scoop them up! Combine these with a patriotic theme and they’re some of my favorite craft projects! Follow along with this Patriotic Wood Slice, I think you’ll love it as much as I did making it!

Supplies:
Wood Slice
Greenery
Ribbon
Fabric Strip
1776 Stencil
Red, White and Blue Paint

First, I taped off three sections of the wood slice. I then painted the open spots with the Deep Burgundy Paint.

Second, I removed the tape strips.

Third, I painted the unpainted sections with the Almondine Paint.

Fourth, I taped the stencil to the center of the wood slice. I then used the Deep Midnight Blue paint to stencil the design on.

Fifth, I stapled the greenery to the top of the wood round.

Finally, I took the fabric strips, tied a piece of twine around the center creating a bow and glued it to the center of the greenery.

Here it is all finished, how do you like the final result? I absolutely love how it turned out, and am so glad I found this wood slice! Making patriotic craft projects are some of my favorite to make, and this Patriotic Wood Slice is definitely a favorite of mine. I think I may keep this one for myself, which I don’t do often. What do you think, will you be giving this one a try too?
