Who doesn’t love finding items at the thrift store that can be brought back to life, and made beautiful again? I sure know that I do, and this Pedestal Bowl Makeover was my latest find. When I find something and can turn it into something amazing in my own vision, I couldn’t be more ecstatic! I hope you enjoy this DIY, and can find similar items to make one of your own!
Pedestal Bowl – Thrift Store
Chalk Paint – Color is called Primitive
First, I painted the pedestal bowl with a color called Primitive chalk paint.
Finally, I lightly sanded around all of the edges of the entire pedestal bowl, making it look aged. I then added a greenery wreath and some battery pillar candle. You could put whatever you’d like in there, but I liked the greenery and candles.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? After I came across this pedestal bowl I couldn’t wait to get started on my vision for it, and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! When I can bring life back to something that someone else thought was no longer useful, it makes me excited to get it together! I hope you enjoyed this Pedestal Bowl Makeover and give it a try for yourselves. This DIY will be in my next restocking of my new craft booth as well.
