Pedestal Riser
As may of you know I love to find supplies to craft with at the thrift stores! There always seems to be at least one thing I find that I know will make a beautiful project. My latest trip in was definitely not a disappointment, as I walked out with a bag full of different finds. I happened to find this wooden oval and wooden candle stick on my last trip, and this Pedestal Riser was born. Come check it out, I think you’ll love it!

Supplies:
Wooden Oval – Thrifted
Wooden Candle Stick- Thrifted
Celery Green Paint
White Paint
Stencil

First, I glued the candle stick upside down onto the bottom of the wooden oval in the center.

Second, I painted the entire thing with the Celery Green Paint.

Finally, I used a stencil I had on hand with the White Paint, and stenciled on the design to the top of the wooden oval.

Here it is all finished, how do you like the finished project? I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out, I think it’s absolutely beautiful. When projects come together like this, nothing makes me happier. I’m thinking this Pedestal Riser won’t stay on the shelf very long, I think it will be a huge hit. Do you think you would like to give this project a try for yourself? I would love to see what you do with yours!
