Primitive Floral Wall Box
Thrift store finds are some of my favorite to make my crafts with. When I found this wall box at my local thrift store, I just had to have it! I knew I could bring it back to life and turn it into something beautiful! It took me a little time to decide on exactly what I wanted to turn it into, but I finally settled on this Primitive Floral Wall Box, and I think it was the perfect choice. Follow along, you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:
Thrifted Wall Box
Black Chalk Paint
Dark Walnut Stain
Rusty Star
Florals and Greenery

First, I gave the entire wall box a generous coating of the Black Chalk Paint.

Second, I gave the edges and the front a light sanding.

Third, I gave the whole thing a coating of the Dark Walnut Stain.

Fourth, I glued the rusty star at the top of the wall box, where the heart used to be.

Finally, I filled the pocket with some of the florals, and greenery.

Here it is all finished, how do you like the finished project? I think it came out amazing, it looks just as I envisioned it to be. Sometimes it surprises me that little changes, and some paint can bring a piece back to life. This has to be one of my favorite thrift store makeovers I’ve done in a while and I can’t wait to get it displayed. Do you think you would like to give this Primitive Floral Wall Box a try for yourself?
