Rustic Winter Tree Sign
The last time I was in Joann Fabric I came across this beautiful sign I just had to get. I had so many ideas of what I could make with it, and ended up deciding on this Rustic Winter Tree Sign. Hardly any supplies at all were needed, the sign and some paints and that’s it! Follow along, and let me know if you’ll be making this one too!
Supplies:
Joann’s Sign
Paints- White, Everygreen and Burnt Umber
Antique Wax
First, I taped off the frame of the sign.
Second, I used the White paint to cover the entire face of the sign.
Third, I used a small brush with the Evergreen paint, and painted all of the individual trees.
Fourth, I removed the tape from the frame and coated it with Antique Wax.
Finally, I painted all of the tree trunks with the Burnt Umber paint.
Here it is all finished, what do you think, do you like how it turned out? This project couldn’t have been any simpler, and still came out amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the end result, and can’t wait to get it over to my craft booth! People are usually drawn to the signs I make, and this one will not be any different!
