I love making crafts for the Spring time! When spring time rolls around, I can’t help but get excited for the warmer, sunnier weather after the snowy Winters here in New England. With Spring brings the flowers and when I found this plant stand at Target, I couldn’t wait to turn it into my own version. I hope you enjoy this Spring Plant Stand DIY, and give one a try too!
Target Plant Stand
Chalk Paint- White and Sage
First, I used the white chalk paint and painted the tops of each of the three shelfs. I then used the sage green chalk paint and painted the rim of each shelf, along with the entire base.
Second, I gave each circle shelf a coating of Mod Podge and laid out the Spring napkins onto each. I made sure to smooth them out, so there were no ripples.
Third, I trimmed any excess napkin from the stands.
Finally, I used the Antique Wax and gave each rim of the stand a light coating.
Here it is all completed, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with it! I took something that was so simple and unfinished and turned it into something absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to get this Spring Plant Stand DIY into my craft booth. I hope all of you following along can give one of these a try for yourselves too!
