Sunflower Highland Cow Mason Jar Sign

Some of my favorite craft projects are the ones where I can incorporate my napkin stocks into them! I have so, so many napkins and I love when I get to use them. When I was sorting through my stocks of them I came across this cow one and knew it would be perfect to go on the mason jar sign I had recently picked up. From there this Sunflower Highland Cow Mason Jar Sign was born! Follow along with this DIY you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:

Wooden Mason Jar Sign
Highland Cow Napkin
White Paint
Mod Podge
Raffia
Sunflower
Twine

First,I removed the bow and then I sanded the jar portion of the mason jar.

Second, I painted the area I sanded with the white paint.

Third, I applied Mod Podge to the jar, and laid the opened napkin over it. I made sure that the cow was centered. I then cut off all of the excess napkin.

Fourth, I cut a large length of twin and wrapped it around the top of the jar a couple times, securing it with a bit of hot glue.

Fifth, I got a bunch of raffia, and tied it into a large bow. I then hot glued it to the edge of the jar.

Finally, I hot glued the sunflower to the center of the bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be any happier with this project, it came out just how I hoped it would. The cow napkin just makes the whole project so fun, and add that with the sunflowers, it’s the perfect decoration for the warmer months! I can’t wait to get this Sunflower Highland Cow Mason Jar Sign into my craft booth, I think it will be a huge hit! So what do you think, will you be giving this one a try too?
