Sunflower House Shelf Sitter
Some of my more favorite crafts are ones I incorporate sunflowers into. Sunflowers are so bright and cheerful and they just brighten up any project I use them in. When I found these sunflower rub on transfers, I had the perfect craft in mind to make with them. Follow along with this Sunflower House Shelf Sitter, I think you’ll love it as much as I did making it.
Supplies:
Dollar General House
White Paint
Antique Wax ~ Edges and Sides
Sunflower Rub On Transfer- Amazon
First, I sanded the house completely, making sure all of the wording was removed. I then painted it with the White Paint.
Finally, I chose which of the sunflower rub on transfers I wanted to use. I then laid them out on the center of the house and applied them. Last I gave the edges of the house a quick coating of the Antique wax to the edges and the sides.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the finished project, it came out just as I envisioned it would. This project was so, so simple to put together, it literally took a total of four supplies, and it looks amazing. The sunflowers definitely give the whole thing that sunny, summer vibe and I can’t wait to get this on the shelf. Do you think you’ll be giving this Sunflower House Shelf Sitter a go?
