Thrifted Shelf Makeover
I love finding supplies for my craft projects at the thrift stores, and I always seem to find at least one item. On my latest trip over I left with arm fulls of pieces I just had to get. I knew I could make amazing projects out of the items I found and I couldn’t wait to get started on them. My first project was this Thrifted Shelf Makeover, follow along, I think you’ll love it as much as I did. Even better it took one simple step to bring it back to life!

Supplies:
Thrifted Shelf
DecoArt Chalky Finish Paint – Vintage

The only step in this project started with painting the whole shelf with a generous coating of the DecoArt Chalky Finish Paint. Once that dried I gave the edges a light sanding.

Here it is all finished, how do you like it now that it’s had some sprucing up? I absolutely love how this turned out! The fresh coat of paint made all the difference in the world with this Thrifted Shelf Makeover. I love when I find pieces like this, pieces that just need a little love and tic, that I can bring back to life. This shelf didn’t need anything to be beautiful with the new paint, so I left it as it was. I hope you end up finding something similar and are able to make one of these too!
