I love these bottle caps at Dollar Tree I knew I wanted to turn it into another ornament for Christmas! I love making crafts for Christmas and this Vintage Style Bottle Cap Ornament was a blast to make! I hope you give one a try too, and any Christmas napkin design you chose would work perfect with this project If you don’t have one like the one I found! Merry Christmas!

Supplies:

Bottle Cap – Dollar Tree
Napkin
Rusty Bow
Antique Wax
Paint – Light Buttermilk DecoArt
Ribbon

First, I removed the twine hanger, then I used the Light Buttermilk DecoArt paint and painted the entire bottle cap.

Second, after the paint dried I covered the inside of the bottle cap with Mod Podge.

Third, I lined the napkin picture up with the center of the bottle cap and pressed into the Mod Podge. I then trimmed off the extra napkin.

Fourth, I used the Antique Wax around the edge of the napkin and up the sides of the bottle cap.

Fifth, I used ribbon to create a new hanger and tied the ends to hold it in place.

Finally, I hot glued the rusty ribbon over the top of the ribbon on the napkin.

This is the project after it was fully completed. What do you think, do you like how it turned out? This would be perfect to either hang on the wall, or even on the entry door! There are so many options with this Vintage Style Bottle Cap Ornament and I can’t wait to hang it! There were so many different ideas I had for this bottle cap, and I’m happy with what I ended up choosing to do with it! Do you think you’ll give this project a try too?
