When I think of summer I always think of watermelon. There is soemthing so refreshing about watermelon on a hot summer day! Watermelon just so happens to make cute decor too!! Come follow along as I make these cute Watermelon Hang Tags.

Supplies:

2 Wooden Tags- Walmart
Watermelon Napkins
Watermelon Wood Stickers- Dollar Tree
Paint- Red, Green, Black & White
Mod Podge
Twine
Ribbons

First, paint the tags using green and white. The outside is green and inside is white.

Second, paint up those watermelon stickers from Dollar Tree. I painted the edge green, the centers pinkish/red and then did the seeds black.

Third, I decoupaged a watermelon napkin to the center of each tag using Mod Podge.

Fourth, I glued the tags together jut at the top of the tags and down the side a little. Then added a twine hanger, and tied a knot in the front of each tag to keep the hanger in place.

Fifth, I added a messy bow in the center of the two tags using ribbons and fabrics that were the same colors in my project.

Finally, I added one of the watermelon stickers to the middle of the bow and one on each tag in the bottom corners! See picture below for that. That’s it! DONE!

How cute are these?! They turned out so cute and were really easy to make! Do you think you’ll make some Watermelon Hang Tags?
