Witch Spell Book Stack

When I’m shopping for supplies for my craft projects, I always check the clearance aisles! Usually it’s a bunch of random things left over that never sold, and I’ve found some amazing items in there. Just after Easter this year I found this book stack and grabbed it. I knew I could make something beautiful with it, I just hadn’t come up with anything that seemed right until now. I’ve decided to go with this Witch Spell Book Stack, and I love it! Come check it out!

Supplies:

Clearance Easter Book Stack
Stamps
Homespun Fabric
Rusty Bell & Pin

First, I removed the bow and the cross. I then sanded the color and writing off.

Second, I painted the bottom book with Black Paint and Antique White for the top book.

Third, I used the ” I Put A Spell On You ” portion of the stamps and stamped it onto the top book.

Fourth, I rubbed some of the Black Paint around the edges of the top book. I then stamped some bats onto the books’ spines.

Fifth, I took a length of the Homespun Fabric and wrapped it around the books, tying it off with a bow.

Finally, I glued the rusty bow to the center of the bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with this project, it turned out exactly as I envisioned it. I’m loving these books with the new design I put on them, they have so much more life than when I bought them. What do you think, will you give this Witch Spell Book Stack a shot too?
